Your role:  The Associate Director, Marketing will be a key member of the Marketing team. This individual will lead key Marketing initiatives and tactics for the company’s FDA approved product, responsibilities related to conventions & exhibits, speaker bureau, Medical, Legal and Regulatory review of promotional materials, literature fulfillment, other marketing communications projects, and sales training.  Reporting to the Sr. Director, Marketing Communications, this is a highly visible role in a small, growing organization, and will have frequent interaction with Senior Management, Field Sales, Sales Operations, Medical Affairs, and Compliance, in addition to Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning and executing national, regional and local congress activities
  • Managing speaker Bureau, including on-site and remote speaker events
  • Assume day to day responsibilities of Medical, Legal and Regulatory review of promotional materials
  • Partner closely with Sales team and training consultants to develop highly effective training content and learning curriculum
  • Managing external agencies to ensure timely development and execution of marketing materials/programs aligned with brand strategy objectives
  • Liaise with advertising agency partner and other vendors to ensure execution towards objectives
Who you are:
  • BA/BS
  • Minimum of 7 years pharmaceutical experience with 3 years of marketing experience preferred, oncology and/or medical imaging experience is a plus
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical marketing strategies and regulatory/compliance environment
  • Commercial Learning & Development/Sales Training experience a plus
  • Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, small pharma environment
  • Computer skills:
    • Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, mandatory
      • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
    • Experience with Veeva Promo Mats preferred
